The one I !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! with Alaskan plates. This guy has my respect for two reasons. 1. Keeping this 25 year old sports car in basically perfect condition in Alaska. 2. Driving said car a minimum of 5000 miles round-trip to come down to Omaha for the annual Buffett shareholder’s meeting.

In all seriousness, the reason so many of the shareholders stay there is because much of the festivities take place across the street at Borsheims, which Warren/Berkshire owns. And there are shuttles from that hotel running to the convention center downtown where the meeting is.

these things were really hot shit when they came out. We sat in awe at 300 horsepower from a twin turbo V6. Between the 300ZX, the Supra, the 3000GT/Dodge Stealth, the NSX, and the Subaru SVX, there must have been some wild coke parties going on in Japan in the late ‘80s.

then, of course, Japan went into a recession (they’ve still never completely recovered from the “lost decade,”) the fun went away, and pretty much all they make anymore are Camcords and CUVs.
